Every year Umekes & Keiki of Da Aina Get together with local businesses to give back to the community of Kona especially to those who are less fortunate. Chef Nakoa Pabre has been doing this for the past 6 years and it is from his heart and brings him great pleasure to see the look in the keiki’s eyes who might not get any presents at all because of the parents who might have fallen on hard times. It really does bring tears to the eyes when you see these children who are happy and get barbie dolls and bicyles this year because of this luau. Wonderful to see those who get to eat a hot meal provided by Umekes and Keiki of Da Aina. Watch the video and see how the kids are so happy! Mahalo to all the sponsors and local businesses who have given to make this luau come about and all the Umekes employees who give their time to assist and to all the volunteers this year December 2016! Mahalo Plenty to Chef Nakoa Pabre and to the non profit group Keiki of Da Aina!
